Voyager takes long time on USB driver, How to improve voyager speed

I have The Bat professional on my home pc and Voyager on a USB stick, so I can receive e-mail on the move.
The problem is that on the USB, voyager takes long time to receive e-mails. To be exactly, to 'deleting e-mail' from my server.
When I say long time, I'm saying about 10 minutes to delete 100 e-mails (most spam).
I've been dealing with it for many weeks now until yesterday when I installed TheBat Professional on my USB stick.
What a difference. It received and deleted the e-mails at flash speed.
I now I cannot use TB Professional on the USB, since it uses registry and other things from my PC, but them cames the question:
what could be wrong on Voyager, (or it's the way it is???) that it's so slow receiving e-mails?
I also installed PMMail on the USB and it also received it very fast.

I'm using Windows XP sp2 + POPFile + AVG anti-virus + Comodo Firewall

Thank you

Any ideas?

No ideas, though I've noticed the same. I always blamed it to the fact that a low bandwidth and a lot of messages, never compared it with something else.

I'm just a user of The Bat! I don't work for Ritlabs.

This holiday weekend I went to best buy and bought 5 different USB drivers, installed Voyager in each one of then (using the 'retrieve licenses' option a lot) and timed each one.
They are pretty close to the same time as the one I have, so I would cross out the USB issue.
Then, I installed The Bat! on the USB driver (obvious it only work on the computer where the installation happens, since it uses the Registry), and the speed was WAYYYYYYY fast.
Voyager spend a lot of idle time on the "Deleting message #xxx" and on "Importing messages..." display, and TheBat! goes there just fast as a light.

I do have an average of 150 e-mails on each one of my 6 accounts every day, so yes, it's a heavy e-mail service that I have, but even if I select only one account, with 5 or 6 new e-mails on it, takes about 2 to 3 minutes to receive it.

I have a T1 line at the office and DSL 4.5Gb at home, so I don't think it's a bandwitch issue neither. It must be something on the Voyager code... maybe...

Returned all 5 usbs drivers today. :( :(
