Uninstall TheBat, No way to remove TheBat

Hello!

I´d like to uninstall TheBat, but i can´t find any entry in the software list from the control panel.

I´m using TheBat 3.95.6 on a XP system.

I tried already a hint from another forum where was suggested to edit the registry key, so the button uninstall should appear, but it doesn´t :(

I red many questions from people who are unable to uninstall TheBat. Maybe a seperate program or a routine to deinstall by starting TheBat using uninstall parameters might be a good idea?

However, i´d be grateful if you can help me with that problem even with a less comfortable way ...

I've uninstalled TB several times (testing purposes)and since v3 that's always been done via the software panel of the configuration panel.

if you don't see it in Control Panel, type in the Start -> Run box or in a cmd window this

msiexec /x thebat_pro_3-95-06-christmas.msi

thebat_pro_3-95-06-christmas.msi must be the exact name of the windows installer .msi package you installed from, so change the command if needed. This will tell windows installer to remove TB.

Thank you very much for this hint, that was what i was looking for, for several days ...

I found the solution for my problem 5 minutes earlier by myself:
I´m working without administrator rights. To install software i give my user account admin rights for this process.
To uninstall programs i usually run control.exe as admin user.
Now i tried starting control.exe with my standard account, after granting admin rights to it. And, voila, there was the entry TheBat! ready for uninstall ...
