HTML Mails, Reading HTML

Hi

I am having a few problems in getting HTML mail to display. My mail comes in and I get a window with a text version of the mail. Alongside it is an icon with the title message.html. I assumed that by clicking it, it would open in my browser but it dosn't. I get a message saying:
"This file is not for opening under any circumstances. Please contact your system administrator or your support service to make it possible to open this file"

There is no one but me, I have no system administrator or support service. What do I do. Is it a permission or security level that needs to be set? I am using Win XP HE  with SP2 and The Bat version 3.95.6 professional.
