E-mail signature

Hello,

I cannot understand any of the information I've found on creating an e-mail signature. I have two accounts and I want separate signatures for each.

I want them to be formated this way:

Name
Mailing Address
Phone Number
e-mail address

Currently, I have

Best regards,
Craig                     mailto:email address

This doesn't work for me.

How do I set it up the way I want and how do I ensure that it is for all e-mails that I send e.g, new, re:, fwd:?

Thank you.

Open account properties -> select an account and press ALT+ENTER.
Then under 'Templates' you can set how the signature should look like, you'll have to configure it separately for new messages, replies and fwd templates.

That is absolutly correct - and once you have that set up on each account remember: you can also do that through the address book AND/OR per folder.

Some say using the templates in the folder can cause unexpected results so the address book is the preferred alternate method. With that you can have a different signature for each person. If I post to the tbbeta group it automatically puts the message in plain text, adds my preferred sig and the version of the bat I am using.

I have another group where I provide updates. When I want to send the updates I pick the appropriate quick template and it adds the instructions and the files needed - faster than it took to type this :))

On forwards and replies you have full control over text; whether you want it to appear quoted or as-is can all be controled with macros in your templates
