Default display name

Default display name, Default "display name as" field when entering new contact

Is there a way to have the new contact "display name as" field default to a preferred format. Mine always shows "Prefix, first name..." Further, is there a way to change the "display name" format for all or a bunch of existing entries. Having imported a couple hundred entries, it is somewhat time-consuming to open each and change it. -- Dan
