Two address book questions, How to display names as "Last, First" by default

I have just begun using TB (3.95.6), and there are a couple of things I have yet to discover how to do:

1. How do I set the address book display names as "Last, First" by default? It will sort by last name, but I want to have addresses displayed by last name. Aside from going through my address book and changing each entry manually, I haven't found a way to do this.

2. Second question relates to composing a new message. When I click the Address Book button at the right end of the To field, the names revert to sorting by FirstName, even though the address book is set to sort by LastName. How do I fix this?

Oh, while we're at it, a related question. The Help file talks says another method of inserting an address is to "Go to Favourites". How do I "Go to Favourites"? Is there something I need to do to enable this feature? Maybe I'm just missing it ... but I cannot find an icon, button, or menu item in the message editor window relating to Favourites. Please point me to this.

Please excuse my newness to this program. I'm sure these questions are easily answered. Your patient help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

1) Can only be done one at a time. Yours is a long standing wish.

2) The address picker doesn't sort by first name, but merely by name (or whatever column you've set to be sorted on) As you can't add a column 'last name' to the address picker you've got to arrange that all names are displayed last, first and then the name column will sort on the last name.
(I realise this is a cruel thing to say, but I didn't write the program.)

3) You can add people in the address book to favourites, just check the box in the favourites  column. You can easilysend them a message from the main window (not the editor) by clicking on the arrow head immediately right of the new message icon. This will give you a pull down menu with all of your favourite contacts listed. (alphabetically)

Thanks, Roelof. Very disappointing, but I thank you very much for your response.
