TheBat 3.98.4 upgrading and Vista... HangUp, Upgrading hangs TheBat

Using Vista Home Premium and TheBat 3.95.6
Tried to upgrade to 3.98.4, after install (no errors reported) launched thebat.
Entered my password, no screen of thebat.
In taskmanager thebat was visible and used more than 50% of cpu resouces.
Had to do aa system restore to get the old version back. :evil:
Anyone an idea on how to solve it to get it work...?

For info:
I completely have DEP disabled.Had to coz Vista isn't running ok on Acer-Aspire laptops.

Same problem her, On Vista Ultimate.
Chrismas edition was running fine. I bought and upgraded tot the lastest verions, 3.98.4: still running OK since I didnot have to restart the machine.

This morning TheBat ask for pwd, but didn't startup

Peter, sticking to TheBat 3.95.6 is the only thing todo i guess.
Same thing here after entering password, thebat is invisible but running and consuming 50% of cpu.
At this moment just using 3.95.6, we need our e-mail don't we   :|

Does anyone know where can I get the older version 3.95.6. The new one is not working on Vista and I need to use e-mail....
