BUG: Replying to a message with long Refrences corrupts email header

HI,

When "The BAT" replies to the message below, the new message has a new-line inserted before the "References: " field. As a result, the rest of the email header is interpreted by the receiving side as part of the email body.

Any tips / solutions / work-around ?

Thanks,
Assaf

Hi Y.

Thanks,

It took me a while to find a thread that long in my message base, but I can't reproduce that behaviour with a reference header containing 20 msg-id's.
What version of TB are you using? What editor?

Roelof, thanks for replying..

I'm using version 3.99.3, Editor is MicroEd

Have you tried importing this email as .MSG and then replying to it?

Thanks in advance,
Assaf

I imported the message you posted and that's giving me bad results, as far as the processing of the references header is concerned, because bad folding has been used, but I don't know whether that's due to processing issues with the import from html or something else.
When I manually re-format the references header to proper folding the entire references-thead in included in the reply.

The message itself is quoted in all instances.

BTW Would you mind posting your reply template? In case you're using an address book template or a folder template that's the one you need. And check whether it contains the %Quotes macro.
