Australian English Dictionary, Spell Checker

Hi,

I just bought The Bat! Pro version and like it so far. I am looking for Australian Spell Checker for it.

Thanks in advance.

just for curiosity, does it really differ that much from true English or so called 'American English' to require a separate spell checker?
I haven't seen an Australian spell checker even in Word

Yeah Mate, It sure does. Pommy's (British) dictionary is very close to Aussie one but not the same.

Here are some examples:

1. agro - being angry or/and aggressive
2. Akubra - wide brimmed felt hat
3. she'll be apples - everything will be OK
4. arvo - afternoon

This words are being used quite often. US dict has many words spelled differenly - Colour - Color; Organise-Organize etc.so its no good.

Regards

interesting to know..

I guess your problem is that British English spell check (or any other that you use now) treats such words as mispelled. The next time this happens, just click the 'Add' button - this word will not be treated as mispelled (or misspelled, which is correct?)anymore, unless you really mispell it.

this way she'll be apples :)
