Would anyone happen to know if it is possible to set the default image compression to GIF instead of JPG for any pasted images?

My problem is, I'm mainly sending screencaptures in the HTML messages, and they compress much better using GIF, and also look nicer. Now I always have to save them with a small tool as GIF, then include them in the HTML message as an image. It would be so much nicer just to be able to paste the image when composing the HTML message, and The Bat! would include it in the message as a GIF image.
