Yes, it is that particular status bar account that concerns me. I have changed this at that location but it is only switchable for that particular message. The default is still another account that I prefer to change rather than change it on each and every message.
The problem lies in Common Folders that are not a sub-folders of a particular account. The default account for all common folders is, at least in my case, the first "alphabetical" account. This is a more private email address and when I reply to a message after it has been filtered to a Common Folder they all have the wrong account in the status bar. A work-around is to change the identity in the properties part of each Common Folder. This does change the from address but doesn't changed that status bar tag which makes me wonder if the incorrect email address is still buried somewhere in a hidden header on outgoing emails.
