Can't access or configure account.log

I recently had to reinstall The Bat! due to a change in hardware.

Version  3.99.29

Since then I've not been able to access or configure the account logs.

Every way I try to reach the account log form within the program fails:

* the button in the config bar doesn't work
* the account menue item doesn't work
* the hotkey doesn't work

But the account log is definitly written and I am able to open it with a normal text editor. It contains the send and fetch data of my accounts, but not the filtering informations I am looking for...

How can I configure my account log to show me the filtering informations?

(it has worked in my previous installation, but maybe I missed some configuration details in my new one...)
:cry:

Can you enable the status bar?
View -> Status bar
That will show you the log too.

You're sure that you're viewing the account log and not the protocol logs?

The account log does show in the status bar, but it shows only the last few dozen items and no filtering information.
(I set my account log file size to 2MB to hold more data. )

Since I get a few thousand mails a day it would be helpful to know if I received some "special mails" and where my many mail filters may have sorted them into if I did. :-)

IIRC my old account log showed this kind of information.

My satus bar shows the filtering info too.
What's your setting for verbose log?
Account -> Properties -> Options - Verbose log
I've got that disabled

Ah, I found the problem... and it has an extremly silly explanation:

The separate account log screen was hiding outside of my desktop monitor the whole time (I've been fiddling with my multiple monitor configuration).

@Roelof:
Thank you very much for your effort, at least I've learned a lot about my bat logfiles today....  :oops:
