How to hide IP in my sent mails?

Hi all,

For security reasons we would like not to show IP and computer name in the mails we send.

Our intention is not to be anonymous, we just don't want to be hacked just besause anybody can know our IP adress in the mail people receive from us

Is there any Macro or something else we could use?

Thanks

You can't do that with a macro, since it isn't TB that inserts those data. Those things are inserted by the smtp server that TB connects to. So you've got to contact your ISP to arrange that.
It's most likely that won't be willing to anonymize you. So you'd better look for an anonymous smtp service.

Hi,

Thanks for your fast reply.

I've try to send an email with outlook and you were right...that's my gmail....the SMTP send my IP with my computer name!

If I send a mail with gmail's webmail it doesn't show up my IP adress (but hotmail does...), that's why I thought TB was the problem.

Thanks a lot Otten
