I know this problem has been discussed many times over the years that I've been using The Bat! but it never seems to have been fixed - at the moment it's a complete PITA for me
I handle five mail accounts and have missing folders in three of them. One only shows four of the 12 folders it has! Okay, it can be fixed by the Ctrl+Alt+Shift+L sequence but this only works until the program is restarted when I have to go through it all again.
I've tried many ways of fixing this - maintenance never has any effect, backup, uninstall, reinstall doesn't fix it. The only thing that sometimes works is moving a folder to another account but that is rather less than convenient.
Surely this can't be beyond the resources of a competent programmer to fix permanently?
I've been programming for thirty years now and I've never found anything that was unfixable if you stick at it, be it in Machine Language, Visual Basic, Cobol, PHP, C++ or whatever.
I'm running 3.99.29 under Vista (lately with SP1 RC1 on it) and previously under XP to SP2 but still always encounter the same problems.
