No Attachments Seen

No Attachments Seen, Version 3.99.29 doesn't show attachments pane in a new message window

When you open a new message window and you attach a file then you can't see it in the window at all! No sign there's any file is attached! But you can see the file icon later in a main window when you save a message or send it. If it's really a new feature THE BAT is coming imposssible to use for business applications.

From what I read here, versions 3.99.x seem to introduce more new bugs than they fix. Probably developers are focused on the new major release. I myself use 3.85.03 and don't even think of upgrading.

I guess you checked already that the pane isn't just set not to appear (View -> Attached Files ->..), or that you didn't drag the pane border to make it very small.
