Hangs for 20+ seconds when opening new window, frustrating when a new windows needs toopen

Im using TB 4.0.14.  I have never had these issues before - it started when I upgraded to the version just before 4.0.14 and it exhibits the same performance wth this current version.

Anytime a new window opens when you Forward, Reply or simple double-click on the message, the new window hangs for about 20 or 30 seconds. It is interesting that the new window is partially transparent.

After the window is fully accessable, typing stalls and hangs for a few seconds - continues - hangs again. This is very frustrating.

Any ideas?  Anyone else with the same issues?

I'm experiencing the same issue, but not with all mail I try and forward. I haven't figured out why/when it happens though.

XP SP2, 1024MB RAM, Sophos AV, ProcessLasso, Windows Defender)

I think I found the issue - ProcessLasso!

I shut it down and had no problems - turned it back on....slow again!

I am going to shut it down for a while.

I've installed ProcessLasso 2.62 this morning and choose to reset the configuration. This seems to have fixed my issues.
