Import SSL certificate, How do I "Import" an SSL into The Bat!

My email hosting provider recently changed their security certificate.

Wit their previous certificate, every time I'd log in, I would be asked to accept or reject the certificate (Initiating TLS handshake). I would always accept and thereafter my mail would be downloaded.

Now when it comes to Initiating TLS handshake, it just disconnects the connection with the message:
"Connection finished - 0 messages received"

When I go to the log, I see, it says:
FETCH - The server host name ("secure79.websitewelcome.com") does not match the certificate.

I aksed my hosting provider and they say I need to "import" that SSL.

How do I do that?

Regards.

open Address Book, select "Trusted Root CA" and find previous one and remove old certificate. Maybe adding new one will be enough.

I opened address book as you have said, but I have no idea of the details of the previous certificate.

My email hosting provider gave me details of how to import the new SSL into 'Internet Explorer' and it successfully imported there. I can even see it in Tools > Internet Options > Content > Certificates > Other people

but how do I import it into "The Bat!"?
When I try to access my mail using "The Bat!", it doesn't even give me an option to accept or import the certificate.

Regards

create new contact, click to Certificates tab and click to Import button

how does TB import them?
when I click on New Contact and go to the Certificates tab, I see the Import botton which I click. When I click the Import button, a lew window comes up asking me to select a file (or browse to a location on my hard drive and select a file from there). That where I'm stuck.

Regards.

any help pls, the problem is still not solved - I can't access my mail

The name of the certificate doesn't match the server name? In that case see whether you can use the name in the certificate as server name.
