I don't know how you configured yoour account, but over here it works when I've got it like this:

Account -> Properties -> Transport -> Receive mail:
mail server: pop.gmail.com
user: ******
password: ******
Connection: Secure to dedicated port (TLS)
Port: 995
Now press on the 'Authentication' button (for the receive mail section) and set that to 'Regular'

authentication was MD5. Changed to reg?lar and its ok now. thanx alot.

is there any short key to check all mail account at same time instead of F2 ?

Alt-F2 checks all accounts.

And with the customizer you can pick any key-combo you like.

Yeah, it really helped! The confusing thing is that in STANDARD INSTRUCTION for configuring mail clients GOOGLE says to use SSL in incoming mail server where it should be TLS! :D [COLOR=green]

Hi, All!

As many & you, I had a PROBLEM with G! accounts on my e-mail client 'The Bat! Professional Edition 3.5', but I found a SOLUTION:

The Bat! Professional, SOLUTION FOR Gmail certificate PROBLEM
Despite of config The Bat!, certificate & TLS errors avoids G! msgs

Thanks Asign for posting the directions for this.  I have had this same error message for the past week and it's been driving me crazy.

Good evening,

Maybe my 'import method' didn't work for you due to different TB versions.

> Go into the Account Properties of the email account which is generating the

> Click on General Tab
> Click on Edit Personal Certificates
> Click on Certificate Tab
> Click on Import and then import the certificate (equifax) file from where it

Anyway your 'import method' above is GOOD shortcut & worked for me! I'd like include it in '2.2) Import' section of my topic (The Bat! Professional, SOLUTION FOR Gmail certificate PROBLEM, post #1), but I can't edit it more.
