Portion of template is no longer plain text

My template for a new e-mail message is this:

%TOFName,

%Cursor

--

%FromFName                          mailto:%FromAddr

I've been using The Bat! since version 1, and until I upgraded to version 4, any time I created a new message the entire message was in plain text. After I upgrade to version 4, however, the portion of the template that says

--

%FromFName                          mailto:%FromAddr

is formatted differently -- it's now in a smaller font than the rest of the message and it's in italics.

This formatting change has happened acorss the board in my templates: for forwarding, replies, and so on.

How can I get everything to be in plain text again?

Thanks.

It's still formatted as plain text. It's merely displayed different.
The default is that everything after the signature delimiter is displayed less prominent as is  fitting for the content of the common signature.
You can modify the way the signature is displayed at:
Options -> Prefrences -> Message/Editor -> Message Viewer/Editor
