the Bat! v4.0.24 bug, not settable as the default e-mail client in winXP-SP2 LUA

Just like before - the bug is the same.
You cannot make it to be the default e-mail client on winXP-SP2 for a LUA session.

You are doing something wrong, because i have both in WinXP Home and Vista Home Premium successfully made it to be the default e-mail client.  I'm using version 4.0.7 though, but i don't think this has changed in later versions.

First i thought that it really is an issue but later noticed that when first spesified Outlook Express / Windows Mail as default client, and then changed The Bat! to be the default, it succeeded.  Please try this.

veskari: I'm using version 4.0.7
If you would care to read my posting throughly - and follow the link, you could [probably] notice that I have said: the problem begun since the Bat! v4.0.18, before that it all was OK.

Well, it didn't began. Wanted to test and updated to v. 4.0.24 just by installing on the top of the v4.0.7 and the Bat! is the default client for my limited user account. My OS tested: Vista Premium 32-bit. No problems here.  I haven't changed the default Vista settings either, so the UAC is on, etc.

You make me wonder...
Where did I say I'm on Vista?!

I'm on winXP-SP2.

Just as I said - the Ritlabs has broken the Bat! v4.0.18+ while making it Vista-compatible.
