FETCH - Impossible de créer le fichier de sorti, Can't send or receive e-mail

Hello,

For few days now, I cant make the bat run properly. I got this message:

"FETCH - Impossible de créer le fichier de sortie"

that could be translated by "can't create output file".

With the bat 4.0.24 pro.

And also all the field with e-mail address, subject, etc, are completely black. i can't read them.

I tried to repair or reinstall, but it works few hours, and fai lagain.

I have plenty of place on the harddrive.

Can you help?

Someone may come up with some bat specific ideas but have you cleaned out your temp files?
In XP they are usually under C:\Documents and settings\your login\local settings\temp

If you are not sure about doing this there are programs to help such as ccleaner and cleanup
http://cleanup.stevengould.org

Close all programs before deleting tempfiles and don't be surprised if they won't all delete  ;)

Cleaning the temp files doesn't help.

I tried many things: changing the mail folder, uninstalling and installing the bat again, the problem appears again and again.

I'm with Vista, and nothing has been changed on the configuration since the problem appear: no new software, no security update... strange.

Disable your virus scanner and see whether that remedies the problem.
If so, delete the message(s) that might cause the problem (messages with attachments you didn't expect), purge and compress all your folders and enable your virus scanner again.

Done. But doesn't solve the problem.
No virus, no message with a strange attachment...

Can someone give me a ling where to download an old version? I would like to try with the 3,95 that was working fine.

I am having the same blackout problem making it impossible to even configure TB since I cannot read what the heading is asking for...I, too, have already done all of the above steps as well as lowering my hardware accelleration a notch. I am getting little help from sending in a help ticket, can anyone advise?

Carol, update the drivers for your graphics card and see whether that helps for the visibility part.
You could also try to disable the hardware accelleration completely and see whether that helps, if so then you got a driver issue, even though it doesn't show with all programs.

Eureka! I found the problem, thanks to you Roelof!!! When I turned my hardware accelleration off and restarted I got a message about the Windows "style" that I was using was not recognized! So I went to display and switched to a plain xp blue style and all is working fine now! Thank you for your help!! I hope this post can help others and perhaps a few of Ritlabs techs will get the memo, hehehe!
