the Bat! v4.0.28.1 is not settable as the "Default e-mail client", winXP-SP3

Just as all post-v4.0.14 versions - the v4.0.28.1 is impossible to set as the default e-mail client for a non-administrative user account.

Is it your non-admin account or an integrated browser/mailer suite that's preventing this? When I was trying Mozilla (not just Firefox), I couldn't get TheBat to work as the default mailer, mailto would still go to Mozilla's built-in mailer instead of the system-default which I had set to TheBat. Changing to Firefox (stand-alone browser) fixed the problem.

If started from a LUA (non-administrative account), the Bat! immediatelly notifyes that it is NOT the default e-mail client and suggests to try to become one. If I agree - it reports it could not associate the extentions and could not become the default e-mail client.

This madness never happens as soon as I promote the above mentioned account to the Administrators group - WITHOUT changing ANYTHING in the Bat!.
As soon as I bring that account back to the non-administrative level - the Bat! starts complaining again...

All this issue has begun as of v4.0.18 and newer.
I've reported the bug, but NO answer so far.

Just re-checked: the v4.0.28.3 misbehaves the same...
