View Mode is not working in 4.0.28.1

Folder View Mode, Manage View Modes and Global View Mode are not working in new version 4.0.28.1.

In the previous version 4.0.24 I used to set different specific Generic View Modes for the Inbox, Outbox, Sent Mail, Trash folders. However in 4.0.28, these Generic View Modes cannot be applied to the folders.

I just found out that I have to delete all the previous Generic View Modes used in 4.0.24 and set them again in 4.0.28, then it works!

That means, in my case, when upgrading from 4.0.24 to 4.0.28, I cannot directly apply the previous Generic View Modes to the new version.

I do not really understand what View Modes are supposed to be for.

In Filter View I always like to add a "Folder" column but when I try to save this as a default setting it never remains.  I always have to add the column every time I use the filter function.

I am using 4..1.11
