Unable to Recover Folder Tree

Alexander Thomson Beginner Posts: 2 Points: 1 Rating: 0 Authority: 0 Joined: 07 September 2008	#1 0 07 September 2008 23:06:00 I have just had to reinstall The Bat! and have successfully reinstated the email accounts. HOwevver I had a large folder tree separate from the email accounts where I filed emails. The file and folder structure is on disk. How to I get The Bat! to "see" these folders and their contents. There are a very large number of folders involved in this.

If not, create a new common folder and give it a name like the first physical folder. If theBat does not display the messages automatically, open common folder properties, click Additional on the left and select the physical folder where the message base is. Repeat the above for all folders.

Having installed The Bat! and set its mail directory I then restored the backup of the entire mail folder tree and this time it found all the folders. Thanks again
