How to import Thunderbird accounts to The Bat

hi all,

i have a question :
Before buying The Bat i want to know if i can import my accounts from Thunderbird (last relase)

Because I have some complex IMAP account, i don't want to reconfigure all...

Thanks for read,
Ben

IMAP accounts are kept on the server, so all messages and folders are stored there, doesn't matter what client you're using to access it.
Only client side filters are being kept locally, so those would be lost as they can't be transferred between thunderbird and the bat.

The folder structure is stored on the server. Therefore that structure will be known to the bat.

Whether you've stored the rules on the server or on the client I can't say. When they're server side then there's no problem.

So without importing anything, can i map all gmail folders (no more, no less) in The Bat ?

Trash folder must be the gmail trash folder, and it's same for Spam, Models, etc...

(Sorry i'm french maybe i speek badly)

You can also take help of this Backup tool for Thunderbird http://www.bitrecover.com/backup/thunderbird/ which will allow you to take backup of your thunderbird folders as .mbox files and then you can import same MBOX via Tools -> Import UNIX mailboxes option from The Bat!
