I recently had a failure on an XP system and upgraded to Vista. I could not boot the old installation to make a Bat backup but can transfer file from the old hard drive to the vista installation.
Asd recommended in some posts I found here: I copied the old Bat program folder to the new drive and ran the bat.exe walking through the setup created a temporary profile and setup the new bat file location.
Next I copied all the bat Mail folder items (mail addresses, attachments etc to the new mail folder.
when I run bat only the temp profile is available. what do I need to do to make bat see the copied data? I could not fine an ini or settings file in the bat program folder to work with
Is the a better way to do this in my situation.
thanks in advance
Robert
