PGP signature, PGP signature

hello everybody!

I have setup The Bat! AND PGP 8.1 to automaticely sign my mail before sending.

That's work fine, except... I don't see the text of the key inside the mail.

this one

------------------  PGP ------------------------
s
s
s
s

---------------begin of key -------------------

loinhfpoka"rfg bgt,'^pzaog^'§,gùl'gh;b

----------------end of key --------------------

But the mail is well signed and could be verify.

When I sign MANUALLY it is possible to see this text.

Could somebody explain me the stuff?

Thanks and goodnight :cry:

That's because TB is using PGP/MIME, the signature is sent as an attachment. When you're sending mail to a recipient who doesn't use PGP, he'll appreciate this, because the body isn't full of strange garbage.

When your contact uses a client that doesn't understand PGP/MIME, you can sign in the message with

Privacy -> PGP/MIME -> Off

Is possible to set PGP/MIME always OFF instead of doing it manually each time?

Yes.

Tools->OpenPGP->OpenPGP Preferences->Email tab->Uncheck Use PGP/MIME

With PGP 8.0.3 don't work, but with this macro now is ok: %NOPGPMIME  :D
