I use the latest version of TB and all seems to be OK. However, at times I have a problem with restoring from a backup (my way of "synchronizing" PC and notebook installations) - I sometimes get a "corrupt file" errror regarding the backup file.
I took the advice as suggested on this forum and am now copying the files from my ".. ./Application Data/The Bat!/Mail" folder to a USB flash (message folders only)and overwriting the massage folders in the other installation.
I do this as an alternative IF the backup file (.tbk) is not restored correctly.
However when using this folder copy "solution" I do not copy the other files (.INI, .FLB, .CDB etc) as I am not sure if these will alter my (slightly different) configuration on the other installation. The problem is that I am not sure which files are for what purpose. I would like to copy-synch my address book for example but I don't know which is the address book file
Can anyone please tell me the purpose of each application file or direct me to a link providing this info?
I can guess most of the files by their names but ....
