I have about 8+ email accounts that I'm trying to manage as effectively as possible. There are three main accounts and a bunch of sub-accounts under each of these three. (My ISP allows me to set up disposable sub-accounts for each e-mail address).
After much experimentation I discovered that the best way to deal with filters for the accounts is to have filters inside the main accounts only and have these filters handle all the accounts.
This works well generally.
I run into problems though when I want to send mail from each of the sub-accounts.
In order to do this, I must set up Transport/Receive Mail/Mail Server info. This is because when sending mail, I'm asked to supply the 'receive mail' Username and Password.
So my question is this. Is there a way in The Bat to have it NOT log in and receive mail for a account, but still have that 'receive mail' info available for the times when I need to send mail?
I hope I have made myself clear.
TIA
