i attempted to set up my MSN account yesterday. I followed the instructions by setting my SMTP server to SMTP.live.com, connection: secure to regular port (STARTTLS) port 25 Authentication perform SMTP Authentication (RFC 2554). I then set my receive mail server to pop3.live.com Connection Secure to dedicated port (TLS) port 995 Authentication regular.
when i attempted to receive mail i got the following error message. it said "FETCH- Server reports error. the response is:-ERR authentication failed.
 I am wondering why I am getting this error message when I set up my account according to the way it was suggested?
 What makes this even more strange is that I have this MSN account set up in another email program with the same servers and port numbers and i am able to send and receive email. Why can't I do so using the Bat and what can I do to correct this issue?. thanks Dave
