Send postponed automatic reply.How

Hi
I want to create a filter which sends automatic reply to each sender. I can see this for immediate send, but I want the reply to be sent after 48 hours of receiving the message. Is it possible?
Thanks

Use the macro %Postpone="2d"
in the template of your filter.

Thanks a lot.

Is it like this? From the 'Create automatic reply' window I should create the auto response like this

==================start================
%POSTPONE="2d"

TEXT GOES HERE

==================end==================

Is this correct?
Also what is the format of the postpone macro, i.e.
how do you define the time?

For the full syntax start the message editor, pick from the menu:
Options -> Send timing -> Custom...
Click on more and it'll show you the macro you need for the settings you want.

I am also trying to use the Macro %POSTPONE="0d 0h 15m"

But it is creating two replies.

One with the return e-mail address and one without the address??

These are going into the Out Box. The one with the address is sending ok.

The one without is setting there, not sending getting errors.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

What does your filter look like? Could it be that you have not one but two filters that are triggered by the same keyboard shortcut or event?

I looked for another filter that may be making the double reply. Did not find one.

I noticed this has been going on for some time, in other e-mails

I might try and just delete all filters, see if it works then.

I have un-checked all my filters for all accounts except this one folder.

It is still putting 2 delayed auto reply's into the outbox.

One has the reply address an the other has no reply address and it just sets there and give me warning sounds.

The Condition is
Recipient- contains - "folder name"

Actions is
Move to the folder \\"folder name
Create automatic reply

Not sure where to check next?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

When you right-click on the "Create automatic reply" action, you can choose Edit and that will take you to the message template for that auto-reply. Does the template contain any macro instructions that might generate a second copy?

Or, could it be that autoreplies must include a macro command that sets the reply address, and when this is missing, The Bat will generate another autoreply that uses the current address as the reply address? (just guessing...)

Last thought: when you open the Sorting Office, it shows you the filters for the current account. Somewhere near the top-left corner of this dialog is a pulldown menu where you can pick a different account, or 'Common filters' (which apply to all accounts). Maybe you have another filter hiding there?

Thanks for your help,

I still seem to have this problem. I have contacted tech support with no answer.

When I create a new filter and make a Creat automatic reply, it continues to send out TWO replies.
I have checked everywhere and found nothing to cause this. When I look in the sent mail folder is shows this.
Does anyone know why this may be happening?
Thanks
