Problem restoring Backup Files 3.95.6

hi,

i use the bat since 2000 or 2001 and i´m making backups on regular basis and had never problems with restoring my backups.

i had to reinstall my windows (XP) and now after installing my thebat vers. 3.95.6 including the international language pack I can not restore my recent backup. I got a message that the xxx.tbk-file can not be read.

so i tried several other backups, but got the same error. only a file from 2008 is working!?

can someone give me a hint what can be the problem? maybe i made a update of thebat between 2008 and now (i think i did not)?
