Hi there!
I've been happily using The Bat! until I ran into a problem recently.
I've been setting up several groups in my address book. The problem occurs
when I decide to cut or delete a group with subgroups in it.
I can't paste it or recover it from the trash, it's just not there.
However, if I try to recreate the groups, I can't because it says the unique
handle is being used (even though I just deleted it.) And if I look at the
address book options through a filter I'm creating (e.g. if I try to capture
addresses) the supposedly deleted groups are there.
I figured that was a problem, but the bigger problem is once it gets this
far, if I close the program I can't reopen it. The splash screen shows, and
then it closes and the program tries to open itself again showing the splash
screen again and it keeps looping over and over again. I have to ctrl+alt+del
to end the process. (I am using Windows 7.)
Uninstalling and reinstalling only works if I delete all the user data as
well. Right now the damage is minimal since I'm just get started and setting
things up, but if this happens later on it's going to be a big deal.
Any way to fix this?
Thanks!
