Is there anyway to have The Bat use a different proxy for SMTP, and a different one for POP?

Hello,

does anyone know where this information is located (smtp address field), is it in a file or in windows registry ? Because, I have the same annoying problem, most of the time I have to switch from one smtp to another (I'm using a laptop and of course I can't use the same smtp everywhere, each ISP has its own..). So everytime I have to go in the setup to change the smtp address. So i was wondering if I could make a small script to overwrite the file with one or the other smtp config, or change the registry if it's in the windows registry.

Or maybe someone has a better idea to do this switch more easily ?

Some people use Google (gmail) as the smtp server for all e-mails.

Fastmail or GMX accounts can be used for smtp services.

Hint: set your reply-to to your main account pop3/imap.
