The Bat 5 does not start up on Windows 7 64-bit

Dear all,

Installation of v5 yesterday was a terrible failure. During the installation I got two errors, which I believe were memory access violations. Once I tried to launch the app, the new splash screen would appear and disappear, but nothing would happen after that. Restarting didn't help. Removing The Bat 4 entirely and reinstalling The Bat 5 didn't help. I was forced to go back to v4.

Has v5 even been tested on Windows 7 (64-bit)?

I've got TB! running on Windows 7 too but I ma having problems getting my
settings and email collection across. I there an idiots guide?
