Hi,
I have a bit strange configuration, I use a pop3 server from domain1 to retrieve mail and an smtp server from domain2 to send mail.
The reason is domain1 IP is likely known as a spam IP, many emails just don't reach the recipient if sent through the domain1 smtp - so I have to use domain2 smtp server.
I want to have domain1 pop and domain2 smtp in one account - but domain2 smtp uses 'POP before SMTP' authentication, and the domain1 authentication simply can't be made the same as domain2 authentication.
Although I set specific settings to be used for smtp, if 'POP before SMTP' is checked TB seems to use the POP settings to authenticate.
Can I use different settings (not the ones specified for the pop3 server for the same TB account) for 'POP before SMTP' authentication ?
Thanks
