removing the access password

My sister accidentally set an access password while trying to resolve a problem with an account password. What does she have to do to remove it?

I'm trying to help her by telephone, so I can't see exactly what she has done. It seems reasonable that if she has entered the access password to access the account, then all she should have to do is Set Access Password and blank it out. It sounds like she's saying she did that and still has to enter it, but I'm not sure her description reached my brain clearly.

I don't want to risk my accounts experimenting.  8-)  I suppose I could get off my lazy  :{} and set up a test account and try it.

You can't delete access password to TB! if you set it and forget it. You're need to reinstall TB! from the scratch.

In The Bat! Professional you can also encrypt the message base stored on the computer. Enable the "on-the-fly encryption" of message base and set a master password when you first launch the program. When you use message base encryption, all the data (messages, address books, configuration files) are be stored encrypted. The program uses AES encryption algorithm in CBC mode with 128-bit key. To access the program in this case, you have to enter the specified master password. There is no way to change the master password from within the program.

That's not the issue. We know the password, we just want to return to no-password operation.

Did you ever try to open link that I give you in the last post?

There is no way to change the master password from within the program. To change it or disable encryption you would need to create a backup of your data using the Tools -> Backup menu, close The Bat!, remove the "RIT" key in the registry editor under "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\...", launch The Bat! and restore data from the *.tbk backup file.
