I have been monitoring the .tmp file generation. Can you say there has been over 1200 thus far?!? I delete them once approx 100 are generated.
What I can not understand is the slowness. I have Aid4mail and it can convert in less than 15 minutes all the files properly. Verified that there are 81920 emails thus far to be converted. Doing one folder at a time, deleting the .tmp's etc is making second guess the process. May have to archive via Mailbag Assistant and not go thru the bother of importing.
Mailbag Assistant can import into itself approx the same speed as Aid4Mail.
It may be a good idea for the 'team' to work on the import function if it wishes to convert more endusers over to this application. There is no reason whatsoever for the .tmp's to be left over, this is sloppy programming. It is understood that the import may only happen once, but it points to lack of QC in the area, which of course means if the QC is found lacking in one area are other functions any better?
