Attach a note to an existing msg?

Let's say I spoke to someone after receiving the email, I would like to attach a note about what we discussed on the phone to that particular message, and in the message pane, I want to be able to see an icon indicating there is a note attach to it. Thanks!

So you'll have "Memo" column visible. Only text, no icons

I guess my question is how can I attach a note to an incoming message. I prefer to edit directly on an incoming msg, but since that is impossible with TB, the next best option is to attach a note, something like comments feature in Microsoft Excel. Thanks.
