If you have several accounts in the Bat! a pop-up will appear asking you which one to use to compose a message. I use Opera since the v3.62, the Bat! since v1.35 and never had any quirks among them. (I never used IE/OE at all) winXP-SP3 Pro, the Bat! v4.0.38
