Authentication required, How to allow authentication?

I have to configure a new POP3/SMTP account. But my provider says that "authentication is required" for sending mail.

I've tried all different configurations but none of them seems to work.

Does TB support this kind of authentication? if so, How?

You'd beed to provide more details for a more detailed answer, but here you go:

Account - Properties - Transport - Send Mail - Authentication

Here you can pick several kinds of authentication, most common is 'Perform SMTP Authentication' with 'Use settings of Mail Retrieval'

When this doesn't work, you need to be more specific. ;-)

Thanks Roelof but I've found the problem.

My account wasn't correctly activated. It was my provider to blame. Anyway, your answer is the correct one :)
