there are few attachment files that I'm not being able to open directly from the e-mail, like:
.WMV, .MPG and only few others.
It's working for .DOC, .XLS, .HTML, .GIF, .JPG
I search the forum here an there is few questions on this issue, and the answer is always:
"The Bat! uses the Windows system file associations only. The only way you can fix this is to change the Windows default. You can do this manually in the Windows Explorer ... Tools .. Folder options dialog on the "Files" tab."
well, my windows is setup to open .WMV with VLC Media Player, but every time I double click on the attachment, I receive the warning telling me that it's potencially dangerous to open, etc, etc. and I choose "NO" and then nothing happens. If I do the same with a .DOC, then after that message the Word will open.
What I'm missing here?
My .WMC files ARE associated to VLC Media Player.
