Question Regarding Using Hotmail and Another Server

Example Support Ticket Comes Into Hotmail Filters To Responses Respond from account@mydonamin.com using my server to send the mail. Thanks for any help.

You can configure any server for pop3(receiving) and a completely different one for smtp(sending). What people will see about you (name, from address, reply to address etc.) is what you enter in Account Properties -> General. Email addresses there have nothing in common with the mailbox you get the mail from (although these are usually the same, they don't need to be the same). So you can even send through hotmail but make it look like it comes from account@yourdomain.com (and recipients will reply to account@yourdomain.com)
